KARANYA AI PTE. LTD. (“Karanya”, “we”, “us”) is a company incorporated in Singapore (UEN 202623952M). This notice explains how we handle personal data collected through our website, karanya.ai, in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). It covers website visitors’ personal data only and is separate from how we handle client business data under contract.
01What we collect
We collect only the personal data you choose to give us or that is necessary to operate the site:
- Contact details you submit (for example name, email address, company, message) when you contact us or request information.
- Technical data automatically logged when you visit (for example IP address, browser type, pages viewed) for security and basic analytics.
We do not collect special categories of data through the website, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
02How we use it
We use this data to respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about Karanya, to operate, secure and improve the website and to comply with legal obligations. We collect, use and disclose personal data in accordance with the PDPA, including where you have provided consent, where reasonably necessary to provide requested services or information, or where otherwise permitted by applicable law. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not currently use personal data submitted through this website to train public AI models.
03Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website and our business (for example hosting, email and analytics providers), under confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and only as needed. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights. Some providers may process data outside Singapore; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection as required by the PDPA.
04How long we keep it
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, after which we delete or anonymise it. We may also retain information where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
05How we protect it
We apply reasonable administrative and technical security measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect personal data against unauthorised access, use or disclosure.
06Your rights
Subject to the PDPA, you may request access to, or correction of, your personal data, or withdraw consent to its use, by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable time.
07Client data
This notice applies only to personal data collected through the Karanya website. Information provided by clients through contracted services, software deployments or pilot engagements is governed by the applicable client agreement, confidentiality obligations and data-processing arrangements, not by this notice.
